A warm winter treat with rice fritters and caramelised apples

Serves 4 People.

Rice fritters

  • 600 g cold rice porridge
  • 2 eggs
  • 3 tbsp wheat flour
  • 2 tsp vanilla sugar
  • 1 tbsp cane sugar
  • Oil for frying

Other

  • 4 apples such as Ingrid Marie
  • 2 tbsp acacia honey
  • ¼ dl whipping cream
  • 4 tbsp almonds

This is the way To make it...

Method

• Mix the rice porridge with the eggs wheat flour vanilla sugar and sugar.
• Cut the apples in halves and remove the cores.
• Whip the cream until lightly whipped.
• Heat the plancha add oil and fry the rice fritters.
• Place the apples on the grill and cook until slightly tender with nice grill marks.
• When the fritters are done transfer the apples to the plancha.
• Pour the honey over the apples and let them caramelise slightly.
• Toast the almonds briefly alongside.
• Serve the rice fritters with the caramelised apples whipped cream and toasted almonds.
